These semi-deciduous spreading trees range from 3-10m in height depending on variety. Custard apples generally have fewer serious pests and diseases than other fruit and nut trees.
Grafted plants in 4L bags, 80cm to 1m in height.
Rootstock: Custard apple trees are on Cherimoya rootstock.
African Pride: Has medium sized, early fruit (500-800g) and bears well without hand pollination. Usually grows to a height of about 6m. This variety crops well within 3 years of planting.
One of the main commercial varieties in Australia because this variety bears prolifically and the fruit is high quality. Fruit has a long “shelf life” adding to its value as a commercial variety.
